Laurie Proulx has lived with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis for 30 years and it is her experiences that led to her involvement in the Canadian Arthritis Patient Alliance (CAPA), a grass-roots patient driven and managed organization. Through her involvement with CAPA, she advocates for patient-centred health care policies and practices for people living with rheumatic diseases. She works extensively as a patient partner with health research, health organizations, and health policy. She works as a consultant where she offers services focused on community engagement, disability and health policy, and workplace inclusion. |

Antonella Scali is the Executive Director of the Canadian Psoriasis Network (CPN), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (psoriatic disease) in Canada and led by a Board of Directors who are affected by these conditions. Antonella is a registered social worker with a background in direct clinical services and in policy analysis in community mental health in Ontario. |
