The Arthritis Society wants to support local solutions for people living with arthritis through a new Community Action Grants initiative. These grants are meant to address arthritis-related needs, including health inequities and disparities that impact access to arthritis information and care.

The Community Action Grants will offer up to ten $1,000 education and awareness grants, and up to three $5,000 programming grants. The Arthritis Society wants to encourage communities to use the grants toward starting their own pilot programs, supporting a currently unfunded program, or to fund an arthritis education or awareness activity in local communities. They are particularly hoping to encourage applications from communities where they do not currently offer programming, or where it is more difficult to tailor their programming for community needs. The deadline for submissions is September 14, 2022.

Please view the Community Action Grants webpage for more information.
